Terms of Use

1. About ClearLedger

ClearLedger is a beta money clarity tool. It helps signed-in users record basic money information and see what is left each month.

The beta may change, break, be limited, be paused or be removed at any time.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By using ClearLedger, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use ClearLedger.

3. Your account

You need to sign in with Google to use the beta ledger.

You are responsible for the Google account you use, the information you enter and any activity under your signed-in session.

ClearLedger may contact you by email about your account, beta access, product updates, service changes, security and feedback.

By signing in during the beta, you agree that ClearLedger may add your email address to its beta update mailing list. You can unsubscribe from update emails where an unsubscribe link is provided.

You must not try to access another user’s account or data.

4. Money information

ClearLedger shows information based on the numbers you enter.

You are responsible for checking that your saved balances, income, outgoings, dates, descriptions and statuses are accurate.

ClearLedger does not decide what you should buy, sell, borrow, repay or prioritise.

5. No guarantees

ClearLedger does not guarantee that the beta will be accurate, complete, suitable, available, secure, uninterrupted or error-free.

ClearLedger does not guarantee any saving, debt reduction, income, habit change or other outcome.

6. Daily streaks and achievements

Daily streaks and achievements are product features to show repeated signed-in use and saved activity.

A streak or achievement may be reset, delayed, awarded incorrectly or shown incorrectly if sessions, timezone data, browser behaviour, outages, data changes or beta changes affect tracking.

Streaks and achievements are not proof of financial progress.

7. Beta availability

ClearLedger may update, suspend, limit or remove any part of the beta at any time.

ClearLedger may also change or remove saved data if needed for security, maintenance, product changes or legal reasons.

8. Acceptable use

You must use ClearLedger responsibly.

You must not misuse the service, interfere with it, overload it, attempt to bypass security or contact form verification, submit harmful content, scrape it, copy it for commercial use or use it for unlawful purposes.

9. Privacy

Use of ClearLedger is also covered by the ClearLedger Privacy Policy.

You should read it before entering information into the beta.

10. Third-party services

ClearLedger may use third-party services for hosting, authentication, linked accounts, database storage, analytics, email updates, contact form delivery, spam protection and product operations.

ClearLedger is not responsible for third-party websites, services, policies, outages or actions.

11. Intellectual property

The ClearLedger name, interface, content, design, copy, logo and related materials belong to ClearLedger or its licensors.

You may use ClearLedger for personal use. You must not copy, sell, reproduce, modify or redistribute ClearLedger materials without permission.

12. Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, ClearLedger is not liable for loss, damage, cost, claim, decision, action or consequence arising from use of the beta or inability to use the beta.

This includes reliance on saved data, incorrect numbers, missing information, bugs, outages, unauthorised access, data loss, third-party services or beta changes.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

13. Changes to these Terms

ClearLedger may update these Terms as the beta changes.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.

Continued use of ClearLedger means you accept the updated Terms.
